Disaster Relief Assistance Available
The Missouri Housing Trust Fund-Disaster Relief (MHTF-DR) program is intended to assist Missouri communities impacted by severe weather or other natural disasters in recovery efforts.
Living With Purpose is a contracted partner of the Missouri Housing Development Commission, is offering rental and utility assistance to disaster impacted individuals. Applications must be returned to 8005 N. Broadway, St. Louis, MO 63147, Monday thru Thursday, 10:00 AM til 2:00 PM.
When you apply, please have copies of your; Driver License or state issued ID; Social Security Card for all household members; 3 most recent paystubs or if unemployed, a letter from your last employer indicating last day of work
If applying for rental assistance: copy of your lease agreement, letter from your landlord verifying rent amount and total owed at time of application, and two pieces of residential mail. If applying for utility assistance: copy of your utilities bill and/or disconnect notice, and two pieces of residential mail.
At Living With Purpose, we provide adults and children with developmental disabilities with safe, nurturing, and supportive housing in home-like environments. Our programs focus on community integration, personal growth, and independence.
We also, engage in community outreach to connect individuals with resources, opportunities, and supportive networks. At Living With Purpose, we host community events that foster inclusion, build relationships, and celebrate the talents and contributions of the people we serve.
We Support life skills development to empower residents to live with confidence, dignity, and purpose.
